Harmonic Revenue Jumps 64% as Rest-of-Market Sales More Than Double

Thinkific grew revenue 2% last quarter. Its stock closed October 28 at roughly double its July low. Harmonic grew revenue 64% and raised its outlook, and a 17% opening pop on Tuesday had mostly faded by mid-morning.

Harmonic Revenue Jumps 64% to $148.8 Million, Full-Year Outlook Raised Again

Harmonic Inc. (Nasdaq: HLIT) reported third-quarter revenue of $148.8 million on November 2, up 64% year over year and well clear of its own $125 million to $135 million guidance. Analysts had expected roughly $130 million. Non-GAAP earnings of $0.23 per share topped a $0.17 consensus. Full-year 2026 revenue guidance moved to $545 million to $555 million, up from $505 million to $525 million. It is the third raise this year.

The 64% compares broadband with broadband. Harmonic sold its video business to MediaKind for $145 million in June, so the year-ago base is $90.5 million from continuing operations. The company originally reported $142.4 million for Q3 2025, video included.

Most of the growth came from outside its two biggest accounts. Rest-of-Market, Harmonic’s term for revenue from everyone except its two largest customers by subscriber count, more than doubled to a record 46% of revenue. Those two customers still made up 54% of the quarter, at 37% and 16%. Backlog and deferred revenue rose 58% to $534 million.

Bookings went the other way. Q3 orders came in at $105.9 million, down from $144.3 million in Q2, and the $141 million to $151 million Q4 revenue guide sits below the quarter just reported at its midpoint. Inventory days climbed to 120 from 95 as management stocked up ahead of expected component cost increases.

The stock opened at $11.89 on November 3, up from a $10.19 close, then slid back to around $10.84 by mid-morning.

Thinkific Beats Q3 Revenue Guidance, Targets 20% to 25% EBITDA Margin in Q4

Thinkific Labs Inc. (TSX: THNC; OTC Pink: THNCF) reported third-quarter revenue of $19.0 million on November 3, above its guided range of $18.6 million to $18.9 million. All figures are in US dollars. Growth was 2%.

Thinkific Plus, the product behind its push upmarket, grew 18% to $5.7 million. Self-Serve fell 3% to $13.3 million and is still more than twice as big. ARPU rose 8% to $187 a month.

Adjusted EBITDA came in at $1.8 million, or 10% of revenue. On a reported basis Thinkific lost $3.8 million, against a $0.2 million profit a year earlier, after $4.7 million in restructuring costs from a September 23 reorganization. Management expects that plan to save about $19 million a year gross. That is roughly a quarter of annual revenue.

The Q4 target is the bold part. Thinkific is guiding to a 20% to 25% Adjusted EBITDA margin on revenue of $18.9 million to $19.2 million, roughly flat with Q3, so the margin jump rests on the cost cuts. It is also aiming for a 25% free cash flow margin in 2027. CEO Greg Smith told investors he expects to “re-accelerate growth” after the reorganization. Cash and short-term investments stood at $50.3 million.

Shares closed at C$2.24 on October 28, against an all-time low of C$1.11 set July 9. The US line, THNCF, trades on OTC Pink, a tier with lighter disclosure requirements than OTCQX or OTCQB. US investors should check that their broker can trade it.

HLIT, THNC: Forward-Looking FAQ

Harmonic’s Q4 guide of $141 million to $151 million sits below Q3’s $148.8 million at the midpoint. Is growth topping out?

Not on the full-year math. The new range implies about 53% growth for 2026 at the midpoint, backed by $534 million in backlog and deferred revenue. Q3 bookings did fall to $105.9 million from $144.3 million, so Q4 orders will show whether that backlog is being refilled.

Thinkific is guiding Q4 revenue roughly flat. Where does a jump from a 10% to a 20%-25% Adjusted EBITDA margin come from?

Costs. The September 23 reorganization is expected to save about $19 million a year gross, and Q4 is the first full quarter after it. The Q4 margin will be the first hard check on that savings estimate.
