OS Therapies Reports 72.7% Three-Year Survival in Bone Cancer Trial, Plus a Gold Step-Out and a Battery Durability Test

In the combined historical data used as the benchmark in one osteosarcoma trial, fewer than half of patients whose bone cancer had spread to their lungs were alive three years later. A graphene battery cell charged and discharged in six minutes ran past 1,000 cycles without losing capacity, while a lithium titanate cell put through the same six-minute routine reached end of life in 82. A London-based AI and smart city company signed a letter saying it wants to own its first US data center by the end of November.

OS Therapies Posts Final Three-Year Survival Data for Herlystic

OS Therapies (NYSE American: OSTX) reported on October 6 that 72.7% of patients treated with its investigational immunotherapy OST-HER2, now carrying the brand name Herlystic, were alive three years after enrolling in its Phase 2b trial in fully resected osteosarcoma that had spread to the lungs. The comparison group was a combined historical control, survival data pooled from previously published studies instead of patients randomized within the trial, and 45.8% of those patients were alive at the same point. The company put the difference at p = 0.0006, with 41 patients enrolled and four lost to follow-up.

The interim read in September had shown 71.2%. The final number moved higher.

Overall survival was a secondary endpoint; the trial’s primary endpoint was 12-month event-free survival, which the company has previously reported as met. A single-arm trial measured against historical patients carries more uncertainty than a randomized comparison, which is why a confirmatory Phase 3 trial sits inside every regulatory path the company has described.

OS Therapies says it intends to complete a Biologics License Application under the FDA’s Accelerated Approval program, a pathway that allows approval on early evidence with confirmatory data required afterward, along with conditional marketing applications in the UK, Europe and Australia, in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company describes commencing the Phase 3 study as a prerequisite for all of them, and it has not started yet; a Clinical Trial Authorisation for the UK’s MHRA is being prepared first. Fast Track, Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease designations are in hand. None of them is an approval, and the Priority Review Voucher the company hopes to sell only exists if a BLA is granted.

Funding is tight. The company has no product revenue, and an October 1 update disclosed an agreement with its largest vendors pushing the due date of most outstanding payables to the second quarter of 2027, alongside more than $3 million received in UK VAT refunds and over $7 million in accrued UK R&D tax credits. Market cap was about $76 million at the start of October, and recent secured note and share sale filings are on SEC EDGAR.

Galleon Gold Step-Outs Hit Gold Around West Cache’s Zone #9 Core

Galleon Gold (TSXV: GGO, OTCQX: GGOXF) reported on October 7 that all four step-out holes, drill holes placed beyond known mineralization to test how far it extends, intersected gold 45 to 80 meters outside the high-grade core of Zone #9 at its West Cache project near Timmins, Ontario. The best was 2.52 g/t gold over 26.5 meters in hole WC-26-246, including 4.28 g/t over 8.0 meters. WC-26-245 returned 1.07 g/t over 25.8 meters and WC-26-247 returned 1.01 g/t over 18.5 meters.

Those grades are a fraction of the core itself, where earlier 2026 holes returned 16.07 g/t over 9.25 meters and 6.8 g/t over 19.45 meters. These holes were testing the envelope around that core, and every one of them found it.

Galleon reports estimated true thicknesses close to drilled lengths, averaging 96% for Zone #9 intercepts. Zone #9 now runs more than 500 meters vertically and remains open up-dip and down-dip.

A day earlier, Galleon engaged Hard Rock Consulting to prepare an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment. The existing PEA and Mineral Resource Estimate carry an effective date of January 10, 2022, so none of the 2026 drilling is in the current resource, and no completion date for the update has been given. An 86,500-tonne bulk sample program is underway at the project. Galleon’s technical reports sit on SEDAR+.

GMG’s Graphene Battery Cells Pass 1,000 Six-Minute Cycles in US Testing

Graphene Manufacturing Group (TSXV: GMG, OTCQX: GMGMF) released cycling data on October 8 from the Battery Innovation Center in Indiana showing its 1.5 Ah G®CELLS had run 1,000 cycles with no performance reduction as of October 7, with every charge and discharge taking six minutes. A lithium titanate oxide (LTO) cell tested on the same six-minute timing fell to 80% of its original capacity, the usual end-of-life marker, within 82 cycles.

The 1,000-cycle cell ran at 7C, using the C-rate, a measure of charge speed relative to a cell’s capacity. A second GMG cell run at 10C, the rate the LTO benchmark was tested at, showed a 10% reduction after 393 cycles. GMG’s ten-times-longer claim compares equal charge times; at matched 10C rates the gap is narrower, though still wide.

Energy density at the 10C rate rose 48% to 58 Wh/kg from 39 Wh/kg in the prior update, and energy efficiency came in at 94% against 64% for the tested LTO cell. GMG’s April update put LTO batteries at 50 to 80 Wh/kg.

These are lab-scale cells built by the BIC with GMG materials, testing is ongoing, and GMG says the next work is on 10C cycle life and scaling to larger cell formats. The battery remains a development program with no commercial sales. GMG also announced a US$10 million private placement on September 22, and its annual information form and filings are on SEDAR+.

Gorilla Technology Signs Non-Binding LOI for Its First US Data Center

Gorilla Technology Group (NASDAQ: GRRR) announced on October 9 that it has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire an operating data center in the United States, its first. The facility has about 6 MW of utility capacity today, and Gorilla says the local utility has given written support for roughly 30 MW more, a path to about 36 MW in total on an approximately 18-month delivery timetable.

No purchase price, location or seller was disclosed.

Completion depends on satisfactory due diligence, Gorilla’s internal approvals, executed definitive agreements and customary closing conditions, and the company is targeting the end of November 2026. The site earns revenue today from colocation, renting rack space and power to tenants, and Gorilla is still reviewing the tenant base, rent roll and lease terms.

Gorilla also set a target of more than 100 MW of US capacity over the next 12 to 18 months through more acquisitions, site expansion and customer-led GPU deployments. None of that is contracted, and the company’s own risk language lists securing power and financing among the hurdles.

The company reported first-half 2026 revenue of US$78.4 million in August and raised its full-year outlook to at least US$200 million, after pricing a US$125 million convertible note offering in July that carries dilution risk if converted. Market cap was roughly US$323 million as of October 7. Gorilla files its 20-F and 6-K reports on SEC EDGAR.

Crypto & Fintech: What Moved the Sector This Week

US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw more than $480 million in net outflows on October 7, the largest single day since June 25 per Farside Investors data, and another $244 million left on October 8. Flows turned positive on October 9 with a $21.1 million inflow led by BlackRock’s IBIT, while spot Ether ETFs posted their ninth straight day of outflows.

Bitcoin traded near $82,500 on October 9 and 10, with rising US Treasury yields and more than $2.4 billion in crypto liquidations cited as pressure. Bitcoin ETF net assets fell from $110.8 billion on October 5 to $105.8 billion on October 9, and withdrawals accounted for only about $591 million of that $4.9 billion drop; the rest was price.

Small and micro-cap crypto and fintech names on the TSXV and CSE were quiet by comparison, with financings and a non-binding LOI the extent of the week’s news.

What to Watch Next

When does OS Therapies expect to file for approval of Herlystic?

The company is targeting a BLA under Accelerated Approval and conditional applications in the UK, Europe and Australia in the fourth quarter of 2026. Before any of those can be granted, it needs MHRA authorization to start the confirmatory Phase 3 trial and to actually begin enrolling; no start date has been given.

Will Galleon Gold’s 2026 drilling show up in an updated West Cache resource?

Hard Rock Consulting is updating the geological model, resource classification and technical database for a new PEA, with bulk sample data also feeding in. Galleon has not announced a completion date, and drilling continues with 36 holes completed since March.

How far is GMG’s graphene battery from commercial production?

GMG says the next steps are higher energy density, longer 10C cycle life and larger cell formats, with cycling tests still running. Its roadmap, as of April, pointed to customer trials in 2026 and small-scale commercial production in 2027.

Can Gorilla Technology close its first US data center deal by the end of November?

Only if diligence, internal approvals and a definitive agreement all land on time. Watch for a signed agreement and a disclosed purchase price before treating the acquisition as done.

What could move Bitcoin ETF flows in the week of October 12?

US CPI data leads the calendar, and five-day Bitcoin ETF flows were still negative by about $679 million heading into the week, according to CoinCentral. Treasury yields remain the main macro pressure cited this week.
