RIWI's Market Cap Falls to $3.74 Million Despite New Deal

RIWI just signed a new revenue-sharing partnership with a sensory research platform. Its market cap sits at $3.74 million Canadian, down 53.8% over the past year. Both facts describe the same company this week.

A Revenue-Sharing Deal With RedJade Sensory Solutions

RIWI Corp. (TSXV: RIWI) (OTC: RWCRF), a market research and global trend-tracking technology firm, announced on September 14 a revenue-sharing partnership with RedJade Sensory Solutions, integrating RIWI’s survey respondent audience directly into RedJade’s research platform. RedJade serves sensory and consumer research clients across food and beverage, personal care, household products, healthcare, automotive, travel, hospitality, and financial services. Under the agreement, RIWI becomes RedJade’s primary integrated external audience provider, supplying respondents when RedJade’s customers need reach beyond their existing panels.

The revenue to RIWI is transaction-based. There’s no guaranteed minimum, and how much RIWI actually earns depends entirely on customer adoption and completed survey volume through the RedJade workflow.

The Backdrop: Revenue Down 40.8%, Market Cap Down More Than Half

RIWI reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $885,158, down 40.8% from $1,495,370 a year earlier, though up 7.9% sequentially from the first quarter. The revenue split was $418,937 in transaction revenue, $96,945 in recurring revenue, and $369,276 in project-based revenue. Cash stood at $1.16 million and shareholders’ equity at $1.00 million as of June 30, both improved from $0.55 million and $0.14 million at the end of 2025.

As of September 14, the day the RedJade deal was announced, RIWI’s market capitalization was $3.74 million Canadian, down 53.8% over the trailing year. A small company signing a new distribution partnership while its own valuation keeps sliding is exactly the kind of split screen worth sitting with rather than resolving one way or the other.

The AI Products Behind the Turnaround Pitch

RIWI signed 181 customer contracts in the second quarter, including 24 new customers, most of them through its audience business unit. Managed services revenue nearly doubled in June compared with May, which the company attributes to onboarding a new operational leader, adding project management resources, and platform improvements made after operational strain earlier in the year. Two AI products sit at the center of where RIWI says its growth is headed: VerifyHuman, an anti-fraud tool that reached beta near the end of the second quarter with pilot customers expected in the third, and CoolTool 2.0, an AI-powered research platform piloted in the same quarter and targeted for broader availability by Q3.

A Busy Conference Season

RIWI is presenting its research and prediction technology, VerifyHuman and CoolTool 2.0 included, at the Corporate Researchers Conference in Chicago, running September 15 through 17. It’s also confirmed for the Annual Smallcap Discoveries Conference in Vancouver on September 28 and 29, where CEO Greg Wong will present the company’s operational and financial milestones directly to investors. Two investor-facing conferences inside a few weeks is a heavier circuit than most companies this size run, and it’s happening during the same stretch as a year-over-year revenue decline.

What Would Actually Confirm the Turnaround

The RedJade partnership adds a new distribution channel with real upside and no downside cost, but it comes with no revenue floor attached. The clearer signal will show up in RIWI’s third-quarter numbers: whether VerifyHuman and CoolTool 2.0 reach the broader customer base management has targeted, and whether June’s sequential improvement in managed services revenue was the start of a trend or a single good month.

RIWI’s revenue-sharing agreement with RedJade Sensory Solutions carries no guaranteed minimum payment to RIWI; actual revenue depends entirely on customer adoption and completed survey volume, and the company’s release does not disclose a projected dollar figure. RIWI’s second-quarter 2026 revenue declined 40.8% year over year, and its market capitalization, sourced to a third-party financial data provider rather than a company disclosure, declined 53.8% over the trailing year as of September 14, 2026. RIWI’s AI products, VerifyHuman and CoolTool 2.0, are in beta or pilot stages as of the company’s most recent quarterly disclosure and have not yet reached the broader commercial availability management has targeted.
