Boviet Solar Unlocks Critical Growth With U.S. Investments

Boviet Solar has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the global and U.S. solar markets following recent disclosures that its parent company is reviewing strategic options for its solar business portfolio. The company emphasized that the review does not impact its current operations, manufacturing footprint, or customer relationships.

Management stated that Boviet Solar’s U.S. investments reflect a deliberate and sustained strategy rather than a short-term response to market conditions. The company continues to operate normally and remains focused on supporting utility-scale solar customers with reliable, domestically assembled photovoltaic solutions.

U.S. Manufacturing Remains Fully Operational

Boviet Solar currently operates photovoltaic module manufacturing facilities in Vietnam and a large-scale module assembly plant in Greenville, North Carolina. The North Carolina facility has a reported annual capacity of approximately 3 gigawatts and is supported by ongoing investment in adjacent solar cell manufacturing infrastructure.

Construction of the nearby solar cell facility has progressed through the building shell phase, with interior development initiated toward the end of 2025. Company leadership indicated that these investments demonstrate confidence in long-term U.S. solar demand and domestic manufacturing policy support.

Strategic Review Occurs at Parent Company Level

The strategic review referenced in recent public disclosures is being conducted by Boviet Solar’s parent company as part of a broader portfolio realignment. These considerations are influenced by trade policy dynamics, tariff structures, and evolving subsidy eligibility in the United States.

Boviet Solar clarified that these parent-level evaluations do not affect its day-to-day operations. Manufacturing output, workforce activity, customer supply agreements, warranty coverage, and quality assurance programs remain unchanged.

Stability and Supply Chain Confidence for Customers

The company highlighted that its operational continuity, third-party quality assessments, and adherence to international manufacturing standards remain intact. Boviet Solar continues to position itself as a stable supplier for utility-scale solar developers that prioritize long-term bankability, traceability, and warranty reliability.

Management also noted that potential ownership alignment changes at the shareholder level could support future access to capital, reinforce governance standards, and enhance transparency across environmental, social, and governance considerations.

Positioning Within the Global Solar Market

Founded in 2013, Boviet Solar has built a global manufacturing platform focused on advanced monocrystalline solar cells and high-efficiency photovoltaic modules. The company has consistently received industry recognition for financial stability, product reliability, and bankability from multiple independent research and analytics organizations.

With manufacturing operations in both the United States and Vietnam and a growing international presence, Boviet Solar continues to position itself as a long-term participant in the global energy transition.
