GoldHaven Hits 55.3 g/t Gold in British Columbia, Plus a Tungsten Restart and an AR Buyout

A tungsten mine that shut down in 1957 is testing whether it can reopen before a 2027 ban on foreign sourcing takes effect. Regional exploration 1.5 kilometers from an established copper deposit in Quebec turned up a new mineralized zone nobody had drilled before. A rock sample from British Columbia’s Cassiar District came back at 55.3 grams per tonne gold, and the stock jumped 23% the same day.

GoldHaven Resources Hits 55.3 g/t Gold at Its Magno Project in British Columbia

GoldHaven Resources (CSE: GOH, OTCQB: GHVNF) reported follow-up assays of up to 55.3 grams per tonne gold from rock samples collected during its 2025 surface program at the Magno Project in BC’s Cassiar District, released July 30. The high-grade values cluster around the Magno and D Zone mineralized centres, both sitting along a district-scale structural corridor the company mapped with a 2,320.7 line-kilometre airborne magnetic survey completed earlier this year.

These are grab and chip samples run through a metallic screen fire assay, a method built to catch coarse gold that standard assays can miss, which is part of why the number came back as high as it did. GoldHaven has not yet drilled the property; its inaugural program is pending final permits, with a drill contractor mobilizing toward an August start. The stock closed up 23.4% on the news.

American Tungsten Confirms Over 900 Feet of Strike Length at the Ima Mine

American Tungsten (TSXV: TUNG, OTCQB: TUNGF) confirmed more than 900 feet of strike length across the No. 5 and No. 7 veins at its Ima Mine in Idaho, the company’s first systematic resource-expansion drilling since it began evaluating a restart, announced July 29. Ima produced roughly 199,449 metric tonne units of WO3 between 1945 and 1957 before shutting down; American Tungsten is now running metallurgical testing alongside the drilling to see whether the old workings can support renewed production.

The timing lines up with a federal executive order restricting foreign tungsten sourcing starting January 1, 2027. China, Russia, and North Korea currently produce roughly 90% of the world’s tungsten supply. None of that changes the fact that Ima has sat idle for almost 70 years; a restart still depends on completed metallurgical results, permitting, and processing infrastructure that doesn’t exist on site yet.

Abitibi Metals Finds a New VMS Zone West of Its B26 Deposit in Quebec

Abitibi Metals (CSE: AMQ, OTCQB: AMQFF) intersected a new volcanogenic massive sulphide zinc-silver zone roughly 1.5 kilometers west of its B26 deposit in Quebec, in the company’s first systematic test of B26’s broader regional potential, announced July 29. The intercept, hole 1274-26-383, came from testing three of seven high-priority targets identified by reinterpreting historic drilling, old induced polarization surveys, and a 2025 airborne magnetic survey across the property.

Abitibi exercised its option to buy out SOQUEM’s remaining stake in B26 this June, giving it full ownership of a deposit that already carries a defined high-grade copper-gold resource. This new zone is a different kind of result: a single hole 1.5 kilometers off the known deposit, testing whether the mineralizing system extends across the district rather than confirming what’s already known. Four of the seven priority targets from this year’s 3,285 meter program remain untested.

Nextech3D.ai Signs Deal to Buy Out the Rest of ARway

Nextech3D.ai (CSE: NTAR, OTCQB: NEXCF) signed a definitive agreement dated July 24 to acquire the roughly 60% of ARway Corp it doesn’t already own, announced July 27. ARway, an augmented reality navigation and wayfinding platform, generated about $1.58 million in revenue and $1.52 million in gross profit for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, real numbers behind a deal Nextech is framing as consolidation of an asset it already partly controls.

Nextech already owns close to 40% of ARway, so this is a buy-out of a company it effectively already influences rather than a new market entry. ARway itself remains a separately CSE-listed stock (CSE: ARWY) with a thin public float until the transaction closes, which both companies are targeting for October 2026, subject to customary conditions including approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange.

Homeland Uranium Reports Uranium Values Up to 1,820 ppm at Cross Bones in Colorado

Homeland Uranium (TSXV: HLU, OTCQB: HLUCF) reported geochemical uranium results up to 1,820 parts per million U, equivalent to 2,146 ppm U3O8, from a May 2026 mapping and rock sampling program at its 100%-owned Cross Bones Uranium Project in northwestern Colorado, announced July 30.

These are surface rock and soil geochemistry results, not drill assays, and Homeland has not filed an NI 43-101 resource estimate on Cross Bones. The company is using this sampling to help define drill targets rather than to establish a resource, and whether these surface values extend to depth remains an open question.

What to Watch Next

What’s next for GoldHaven Resources after its high-grade gold results?

GoldHaven’s inaugural drill program at Magno is pending final permits, with a contractor expected to mobilize toward an August start. The first drill assays, rather than surface samples, will be the real test of whether these gold grades hold up at depth.

Will American Tungsten’s Ima Mine actually restart?

That depends on completed metallurgical testing, permitting, and the economics of new processing infrastructure. American Tungsten has flagged 2027 as its target window tied to the federal tungsten sourcing ban, but no restart decision has been made yet.

What are the other targets in Abitibi Metals’ regional program?

Abitibi has tested three of seven high-priority targets identified across the B26 property. Assays and drilling from the remaining four targets are still to come.

When will the Nextech3D.ai and ARway acquisition close?

The companies are targeting October 2026, subject to customary closing conditions including approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange.

What comes after Homeland Uranium’s surface sampling at Cross Bones?

The company is using these results to help define drill targets. No drill program or resource estimate has been announced yet.

Tickers discussed in this article: GOH / GHVNF (GoldHaven Resources), TUNG / TUNGF (American Tungsten), AMQ / AMQFF (Abitibi Metals), NTAR / NEXCF (Nextech3D.ai), and HLU / HLUCF (Homeland Uranium). aktiego.com has received no compensation from any company, IR firm, or third party in connection with this coverage, and no aktiego.com staff member holds a position in any security named above. Press release dates and primary sources were verified against company IR pages, GlobeNewswire, Newsfile Corp, and, for Canadian issuers, SEDAR+ where applicable, and all items fall within the July 26 to August 1, 2026 coverage window. All companies named are under $500 million USD in market capitalization as of the dates referenced above, so no size flag applies under this publication’s disclosure tiers. GoldHaven Resources’ and Abitibi Metals’ results are surface, rock, and regional exploration data; neither constitutes a formal mineral resource estimate, and Abitibi’s new zone specifically has not been drill-tested beyond the single hole discussed above. Homeland Uranium’s Cross Bones results are surface geochemistry, not drill assays, and no resource estimate has been filed on the project. National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) is the Canadian regulatory standard governing public disclosure of scientific and technical information on mineral projects. American Tungsten’s Ima Mine has been non-operating since 1957; any restart remains contingent on metallurgical testing, permitting, and construction of processing infrastructure that does not currently exist, and is tied to a federal sourcing policy that does not take effect until January 1, 2027 and could change before then. Nextech3D.ai’s acquisition of ARway is not yet closed; the transaction is targeted for October 2026 and remains subject to customary closing conditions including Canadian Securities Exchange approval, and ARway continues to trade as a separate, thinly-held CSE-listed security until closing. These are speculative investments carrying significant risk including potential total loss of capital.
