Pan Global Resources
Highlights from the resource estimates
At La Romana, measured and indicated resources stand at 32.4 million tonnes containing 119,500 tonnes of copper, 8,800 tonnes of tin, and 1.7 million ounces of silver. Inferred resources add another 4 million tonnes. Much of this sits within a conceptual open‑pit shell, pointing to potential for a higher‑grade starter pit.
Cañada Honda shows inferred resources of 5 million tonnes containing 104,000 ounces of gold, 6,800 tonnes of copper, and 200,000 ounces of silver. There is also unclassified mineralization that could be defined with further drilling. Both deposits remain open along strike and at depth, leaving room for expansion.
Exploration outlook
Pan Global is continuing exploration to grow the resource base, targeting extensions of existing deposits and new mineralized corridors across the Escacena area. The land package has expanded to more than 10,000 hectares, with additional permits submitted that could push holdings above 13,900 hectares. The project sits near the operating Riotinto mine and adjacent to the Los Frailes site, where new underground development is underway.
Why it matters
The maiden resources provide a strong foundation for future technical and economic studies. With copper, tin, silver, and gold all in the mix, Escacena offers exposure to metals critical for electrification and energy transition, as well as precious metals with strong price support. The high confidence in measured and indicated categories adds credibility, while the open potential suggests this is just the beginning.
