Norsemont Mining Encouraged by Higher‑Grade Breccia Zones in Chile Project

Norsemont Mining Inc. (CSE:NOM; OTC:NRRSF; FWB:LXZ1) has completed the first seven holes of its Phase 3 drill program at the Choquelimpie gold‑silver‑copper project in northern Chile. The 1,650 meters drilled have provided important data for extending higher‑grade zones at depth. Operations are temporarily paused due to seasonal weather, with drilling expected to resume in April 2026 to complete the planned 20‑hole, 5,000‑meter program.

Drilling Progress

The Phase 3 campaign has successfully tested down‑dip extensions of higher‑grade gold mineralization hosted in hydrothermal breccia zones. Early results include intersections of breccia bodies with strong sulfide mineralization, boosting confidence in expanding the open‑pit resource. Assay results have been received for two holes, with additional assays pending later this quarter.

Management Commentary

CEO Marc Levy said the company is encouraged by the higher‑grade breccia bodies intersected at depth, which support the potential to expand both the size and width of the mineralized zones. He added that planning and permitting for a more extensive Phase 4 program in 2026 is already underway.

Assay and Analysis

All drill core samples have been submitted to Activation Geological Services SpA for geochemical analysis. Gold grades are being determined by fire assay, with cyanide‑soluble testing for oxidized intervals. Samples are also being analyzed for 60 elements, including silver, with over‑limit values re‑assayed by atomic absorption.

Marketing Agreement

Norsemont has engaged i2i Marketing Group LLC to enhance its market presence and expand shareholder communications. The six‑month contract, valued at $300,000 USD, begins in March 2026 and covers content creation, project management, and media distribution.
