Paradex announced the conclusion of XP Season 2, a key step toward its upcoming $DIME Token Generation Event (TGE). The platform confirmed that 25% of $DIME’s fully diluted supply will be airdropped to all XP holders at launch, with tokens fully unlocked immediately.
In a move highlighting its commitment to active community participants, Paradex also increased the allocation for Season 2 XP holders from 15% to 20% of the total supply. This reinforces the platform’s focus on rewarding engagement across its ecosystem. The $DIME TGE is expected in late February or early March, with the official date to be announced by the Paradex Foundation.
XP Season 2 Drives Major Growth
XP Season 2 marked a period of rapid expansion for Paradex:
- Average daily trading volume rose from $68 million to $2.1 billion
- Open interest increased from $28 million to $679 million
- Total value locked climbed from $25 million to $218 million
- Total users grew from 4,100 to 70,300
During the final week (January 23–29), the platform distributed 6 million XP to active users, with additional rewards through referrals and affiliate programs. Users exceeding 25,000 XP also received exclusive BadgerBox drops. A final snapshot of the XP waitlist was taken on January 31 at 00:00 UTC.
$DIME Token Allocation
At the TGE, Paradex confirmed the following distribution:
- 25% of total supply to all XP holders, fully unlocked
- 20% to Season 2 XP participants, up from 15%
- 5% to Pre-Season and Season 1 XP holders
With half of the total supply dedicated to user rewards, Paradex is emphasizing long-term ecosystem alignment and participation.
